To sign up for any Referee Course please follow these instructions.

 

Mini Referee – to referee U9 or younger soccer. Anyone 12 years of age, or older (on or before May 15th) can sign up to take a ‘Mini Referee’ course.

The Mini course covers:

  • Referee duties and responsibilities
  • The Rules of Mini Soccer.
  • Onfield practical training

The Mini Plus AR course covers the above plus: **this is required for all Linesmen **

  • Basic Offside
  • Assistant Referee Calls and Signals

 

Entry Level Referee – to referee U11 or older soccer. Anyone 14 years of age, or older (on or before May 15th) can sign up to take an‘Entry Level Referee’ course.

The course covers:

  • Referee and Assistant Referee duties and responsibilities
  • The FIFA Laws of the Game (11v11 soccer)
  • U11 8v8 Rules of the Game
  • Onfield practical training

Students are supplied with –

  • FIFA Law Book
  • U11 8v8 Rule Book
  • Referee badge and whistle
  • Yellow and red cards, referee wallet

** If you want to officiate indoor soccer, you must take an Entry Level course as a prerequisite before taking a Conversion course to obtain the required certification. **

 

To sign up:

Register first at the Ref Center Course Manger website.

Once your account has been created you can then register for one of the courses listed above. you must complete the required payment as directed through the registered program of your choosing. You will recieve a confrimation email from Ref Center.
